You can find loads of Surinaams restaurants all over Rotterdam. But this one has just that little something that makes it a bit nicer than the rest. Don’t get turned off by the emptiness of the place. The food is absolutely delicious (specially if you’re meaty), the rations are really generous, the waitress is friendly and the price is right (about 12 Euros per person). For me it’s worth getting a bit out of your way (Noordereiland) to come here. When the weather is sunny it has a nice terrace at the waterfront.
And the tropical decoration is kinda cool too!
